Translators - Indonesian language

At home

Why we want you

We're working flat-out to protect a huge area of forest in Sumatra. To do that we need to process documents and correspondence in Indonesian. We do have some Indonesian language skills in our team, but now need someone to provide dedicated support to help us translate documents, freeing up our team to focus on the other work that needs to be done to achieve our goals.

What’s in it for you?

You'll be supporting the RSPB's Tropical Forest Unit in protecting one of the world's most threatened and important pieces of forest, home to tigers, gibbons and the indigenous Bathin Sembilan people.

The skills you need

You'll be a fluent Indonesian speaker with good word processing skills, a good eye for detail, and an impressive ability to turn around a piece of work to a high standard and a tight deadline.

Your time

Minimum commitment: 3-4 hours every few weeks, but could vary a lot
Duration: Ongoing
Period: As needed
