The Nature of Scotland Awards are designed to recognise and celebrate excellence, innovation and outstanding achievement in Scottish nature conservation.

Scotland is renowned worldwide for its beautiful wild places and abundant wildlife. We must work hard to preserve this precious natural heritage, celebrating success stories and protecting that which is under real threat.

We were delighted to host the fourth year of the Awards, which recognised the very best efforts made for the benefit of nature conservation in Scotland. The challenges involved in protecting and nurturing Scotland’s special places and iconic species are ever more pressing.

The 2015 awards are now closed for nominations. We received more than 50 high-calibre entries. The judging panel has tough decisions ahead and the shortlisted entries will be announced on 10 September.
