Tree pipit with insects
Tree pipits are extremely similar to meadow pipits and can be very hard to tell apart unless you hear the distinctive call. The streaking ends neatly on the chest creating a band, and there is only a little fine streaking down the flanks, making them look whiter below. They are much more likelt to be seen perched in a tree than meadow pipits.
