What can you do?
Help us save the rainforest animals! Planting more trees and give the animals somewhere to live again. We can buy trees grown by local villagers. That helps people and wildlife at the same time. Perhaps you could ask friends and family to sponsor you to run, walk or cycle. You could organise a cake stall or make and sell homemade greetings cards. Why not sell your old toys that you don’t play with any more? Or maybe you could club together with your class at school, your sports team or your cubs or brownies group and raise money together? You can use the sponsor form on this page. It costs £20 to plant forty trees. Any money that you can raise, from twenty pence to twenty pounds will help save rainforest animals like tigers, gibbons and bears, plus lots of other wildlife. What next?
You can download a sponsor form from the right-hand side of this page, or, if you are a member of Wildlife Explorers, use the form that came with the March/April issue of your Bird Life or Wild Times magazine. Or why not tell a friend by sending them a Sumatrafriend e-message? Parents and teachers - find out more about our work in Sumatra Thank you!Everyone who raises money for the 'Save the rainforest animals' appeal will get a certificate and a sheet of special stickers as a thank you. |
