Wildlife Action Awards for schools

Get your whole school involved in our Wildlife Action Awards.

These awards are easy to take part in, and each pupil, class or year group receive awards for the actions they do. Your entire school will also be rewarded for its combined effort.

In England, the Department for Children, Schools and Families recently launched guidelines for schools to show how a range of award schemes and programmes can contribute to their National Framework for Sustainable Schools.

As a result of our work with the Department for Children, Schools and Families on this project, our Wildlife Action Awards are now included in the new guidelines.

To be recognised as a Sustainable School, your whole school must be involved in our award scheme, and you'll need to continue with your actions after you've got your award - but hopefully you'll be doing that anyway.

Wildlife Action Awards are really easy to incorporate into your school term - take a look at how Woolenwick Infants School has done it.

Not a school? Use the links at the side of this page if you are thinking of doing the awards with your club, group, or as part of your home learning programme.
