These awards are easy to take part in, and each pupil, class or year group receive awards for the actions they do. Your entire school will also be rewarded for its combined effort.

Taking part in the Wildlife Action Awards at school helps pupils take action to give nature a much needed home and supports wider initiatives that your school can get involved with.

This includes exciting and innovative learning activities that support teachers and put sustainability at the heart of your curriculum, campus and community. Also, working with Wildlife Action Awards shows your commitment to providing frequent, continuous and progressive learning outside the classroom.

These opportunities link to Sustainable Schools Alliance, Council for Learning Outside the Classroom Schools Mark and the Children’s University Accreditations.

Wildlife Action Awards are really easy to incorporate into your school term - take a look at how Woolenwick Infants School has done it.

Not a school? Use the links if you are thinking of doing the awards with your club, group, or as part of your home learning programme.
