Have fun with rainforests

Tropical rainforests are amazing. A whopping 6 million species live in them, including three-quarters of the world's most endangered birds and 90 per cent of the world's creepy-crawlies.

Rainforests are good for people, too. They provide food, water and medicines and help in the fight against climate change.

But tropical rainforests are in trouble. Every four seconds, an area the size of a football pitch is chopped down. Some people want to cut down the trees to use their wood. Or the land can be cleared to use for growing money-making crops or so that cattle can graze.

We're working around the world to help save rainforests. You can help by supporting the RSPB.

Here are some rainforest animal activities to make and do. Have fun!
