• The chaffinch is one of the UK's commonest birds, found in large numbers across the country. 
• Like us, chaffinches in different parts of the country have slightly different accents!  Do you think you’d be able to tell the difference? 
• Male and female chaffinches often spend winter in separate flocks with the males staying closer to where they breed, to give them a headstart in the spring.
