Get your wellies on and Give Nature a Home at Chorlton Water Park this half term

Tuesday 14 February 2017

Families hoping to fill their outdoor space with buzzing bees and beautiful butterflies, are invited to head to Chorlton Water Park on Wednesday 22 February for a half term wildlife workshop.

The free event hosted by the RSPB, Southway Housing Trust and Manchester City Council, is taking place between 1.30-3.30 pm and will provide fun ideas for everyone to give nature a home in their garden or outdoor space.

The workshop is being held in the new wildlife garden and families are invited to get stuck in with some seasonal maintenance, before creating homes for nature within the garden, as well as to take home.

The event is most suitable for children over the age of 5 and places are limited so booking is required. Suitable clothing must be worn, but gloves will be provided.

Venue: Chorlton Water Park, Maitland Avenue, Chorlton, M21 7WH
