Harvest mouse Micromys minutus, adult on wheat with sunset behind, Hertfordshire, August (captive)

Join us for a special experience at RSPB Blacktoft Sands, a guided walk that will continue till dark when the reserve is normally closed to the public.

This is a chance to get a glimpse of Blacktoft at a time when it is not normally open to the public. A guide will take you around the reserve in a group to see what the reserve holds on an evening. Look for barn owls, nocturnal mammals and harriers coming in to roost. If it’s a clear night, the reserve should provide a wonderful night sky to observe as an added bonus.

Remember to bring a torch!
