Hi , We have a nest of blue tits in our nest box in the garden, we have only looked In on them once since they first hatched and mummy blue tit was still sitting on them. both parents are out and about feeding them now so today I have had another quick check to see how they are doing , looks like there are 5 babies and they all growing big and have all thier feathers. However, one of the babies seems to have lost a lot of thier feathers and although it looks healthy size like its brothers and sisters, it's back end and legs are raw and it doesn't have as many feathers on it's wings as the others. Not sure it could fledge if it was ready to as possibley wouldnt be able to fly.. is this normal? And will it survive? Is there anything I can do or should nature just take it's course? Thanks:)
