Wokingham & Bracknell Local Group

The group's aim is to bring members together to share common interest and enable them to help the RSPB save nature. We have around 150 members and have an illustrated talk on the second Thursday of the month between September and June.

We also run a monthly field trip and mid-week walk between September and June. Whatever your interest in birds and wildlife we hope there will be something for you in our range of activities. Meeting information

Meetings are on the 2nd Thursday of each month from September to June. Start at 7:45 for 8pm, with a break for refreshments and a raffle, and end by 10pm. Admission - Local Group Members £3.00 and Non Members £4.00, which includes refreshments.

Wolvercote RSPB Wildlife Explorers

This group provides children and young people with a programme of activities that develop their interest in birds and wildlife. We visit brilliant wildlife sites around the Wolvercote area, most of our meetings are out and about.

This group currently has a waiting list..

Meeting information

This group meets mainly on 2nd Saturday morning once a month. Dates vary so please contact us to find out what we have planned. Membership donation of £10 per child per year

Woodbridge Local Group

The groups aim is to support actively the work of the RSPB in the local community and to involve RSPB members and the wider public in the Society's conservation, public affairs, education and fundraising work, and other activities. We have regular monthly indoor meetings (normally the first Thursday in the month) from October to May and occasional field trips at weekends.

We also have monthly mid-week walks from September to May. So, if you would like to have fun and meet like-minded people contact us and help make a difference for birds and wildlife..

York Local Group

The York group has a large membership and is extremely active in a wide variety of promotional and fund-raising activities locally and regionally. The group also volunteers regularly at Blacktoft Sands nature reserve.

The group offers an extensive programme of indoor and outdoor meetings. There is good wheelchair access to the venue. We warmly welcome non-members to any of our events. Fund-raising activities include sale of RSPB goods at coffee fairs, fetes, and special events..

Meeting information

Afternoon meetings start at 2.30 pm. Evening meetings start at 7.30 pm. RSPB York Local Group Members £3.00 and £3.50 for Visitors.
