The group's aim is to bring members together to share common interest and enable them to help the RSPB save nature. We have around 150 members and have an illustrated talk on the second Thursday of the month between September and June.
We also run a monthly field trip and mid-week walk between September and June. Whatever your interest in birds and wildlife we hope there will be something for you in our range of activities.

This group provides children and young people with a programme of activities that develop their interest in birds and wildlife. We visit brilliant wildlife sites around the Wolvercote area, most of our meetings are out and about.

The York group has a large membership and is extremely active in a wide variety of promotional and fund-raising activities locally and regionally. The group also volunteers regularly at Blacktoft Sands nature reserve.
The group offers an extensive programme of indoor and outdoor meetings. There is good wheelchair access to the venue. We warmly welcome non-members to any of our events. Fund-raising activities include sale of RSPB goods at coffee fairs, fetes, and special events..
Afternoon meetings start at 2.30 pm. Evening meetings start at 7.30 pm.
