What we're looking for

Arne's wildlife is incredibly special, and the reserve is home to some amazing and rare creatures. We are looking for volunteers to join our welcome team and help us to inspire people about this stunning reserve. RSPB membership really is the life force of the Society and underpins everything we do. It helps us to protect nature here and across the UK. It is therefore important that you can inspire people about the work we do, to 'warm them up' to the idea of membership.

The skills you need

Key attributes you'll need are the confidence to strike up conversations with people, a desire to help, an enthusiasm for the natural world, but most important of all, offering a warm, smiling welcome! You would receive full training for this role and you don't need to be a wildlife expert, just have an interest and passion for nature.

Your time

Minimum:
1 day per month
Duration:
Ongoing
Period:
All year round

What's in it for you?

This role will suit someone who loves to meet and talk to visitors and who would gain satisfaction from passing on their passion about wildlife. It's also a great opportunity to make a real difference to the work of the RSPB by encouraging more support.
