What we're looking for

You'll be volunteering alongside our Warden at times and with a team of volunteers at others. This will involve practical work such as scrub and ditch clearance and pond maintenance.

The skills you need

You'll need enthusiasm, practical skills and ability to work in physically demanding, steep, rough terrain in all weathers. You'll need to be able to work both as part of a team and independently.

Your time

Minimum:
Flexible - but 1 day per fortnight desirable
Duration:
Ongoing

All year round

What's in it for you?

It's an opportunity to contribute to the effectiveness of RSPB work, meet new people and gain new skills. We pride ourselves in treating our volunteers in the same manner as our staff, in terms of training and career development, and you will have access to our extensive resources in these fields, as well as gaining potentially valuable experience volunteering for Europe's largest conservation charity
