What we're looking for

Co-ordinate the annual programme of indoor meetings, contacting and booking an appropriate range of speakers. Ensuring the draft programme is approved by the local RSPB office. Support and assist speakers on the evening of meetings ensuring they have the equipment they need and in liaison with the group Treasurer ensure their expenses/fees are appropriately paid. The following year's programme needs to be ready by the end of September. A large amount of information on suitable speakers is available within the Group and the RSPB.

The skills you need

A good organiser with an eye for detail and a friendly outgoing approach. The role will involve booking speakers for 7 indoor meetings per year to be included in our annual programme.
