What we're looking for

The Coffee Shop at RSPB Conwy is a popular facility at the reserve with a superb outlook across the lagoons and the Conwy Valley. The role offers a chance to meet and work with our visitors and to help provide a very important service. Assisting in efficient running of the Coffee Shop, helping in the kitchen, showing people wildlife; chatting to visitors and enhancing their visit.

The skills you need

To enjoy working with people. Good customer care skills. A basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage but not essential. A clean and tidy appearance and pleasant manner as duties will include face-to-face contact with the public. This role would also be great if you are completing your Duke of Edinburgh or similar youth awards.

Your time

One day or half a day per week.
All year round

Training and support will be given, and expenses will be re-imbursed where necessary. Relevant RSPB clothing and equipment will be provided, and you will be treated as part of the team at RSPB Conwy.
