What we're looking for

To assist in the running of our shop, ensuring our visitors have a pleasurable and interesting time. Duties to include meeting the public, talking to them about our products, and advising on their purchases. Working on the till, replenishing stock and displays, pricing items and keeping displays clean, tidy and merchandised attractively. Offering the highest level of customer service at all times.

The skills you need

If you enjoy working with the public, have a friendly disposition, are enthusiastic about the work of the RSPB and possess tact and diplomacy, this is the role for you. You also need to be reliable at handling money and stock. Familiarity with customer care and retail experience is an advantage but not essential as full training will be provided. We'd welcome Welsh-speaking volunteers.

Notes

Training and support will be given, and expenses will be re-imbursed where necessary. Relevant RSPB clothing and equipment will be provided, and you will be treated as part of the team at RSPB Conwy. The RSPB is the UK charity working to secure a healthy environment for birds and wildlife, helping to create a better world for all of us.
