The cafe is a popular facility within the reserve and offers a chance to meet and work with our visitors and to help provide a very important service. We need people to bring new ideas and eyes to a working cafe. Staffing cafe; serving members of the public, washing up by machine, assisting in efficient running of the cafe.
Do you enjoy working with people? Do you have good customer care skills? Then this is the volunteering role for you. A basic food hygiene certificate would be an advantage but not essential. A clean and tidy appearance and pleasant manner as duties will include face-to-face contact with the public.
Become a member of the cafe team and gain valuable experience in a busy centre. Training in food hygiene and catering. A chance to enjoy free bird watching at this excellent site! The RSPB is an active and exciting conservation charity, the largest in Europe! We can help you gain skills and give you a valuable insight into our work.
