What we're looking for

To assist staff and volunteers in running recruitment and information stands at the Ribble Discovery Centre, Fairhaven Lake and local area. As the UKs largest nature conservation charity, we rely on the invaluable support of new and existing members to undertake our work.

The skills you need

Enthusiastic with a desire to meet people is essential. You will also need to have a pleasant manner and the ability to talk to members of the public about supporting the RSPB. If you enjoy hands on activities such as badge making there is scope for this too.

What's in it for you?

The opportunity to meet people. Work as part of a friendly team and to recruit members to support the RSPB. You will need to know, or be willing to learn, about the benefits of RSPB membership. You will also need to be able to stand for long periods and be able to carry membership materials.

Notes

Several volunteers are needed to provide greater flexibility. Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be re imbursed where necessary. The RSPB is the UK charity working to secure a healthy environment for birds and wildlife, helping to create a better world for all of us.
