This role is vital for smooth operation of the site, which will help us to maintain our hides, trails and visitor areas to a high standard.

What we're looking for

We need someone to assist us with the maintenance and upkeep of our reserve hides, paths and visitor facilities to reflect a welcoming and attractive appearance at the RSPB's flagship reserve. Tasks may include: clearing vegetation, ensuring hides, signs and public areas are clean and tidy, basic repairs to essential infrastructure, and ensuring our facilities meet basic health and safety requirements.

The skills you need

Some previous caretaking or maintenance experience desirable but not essential. An interest in conservation issues would be useful but not essential. You need to be happy working outdoors in all weathers.
