What we're looking for

We need someone to assist us with the maintenance and upkeep of our reserve hides, paths and visitor facilities in line with Health and Safety guidelines and procedures, RSPB brand prescriptions and to reflect a welcoming and attractive appearance at the RSPB's flagship reserve. Tasks may include: repairs to essential infrastructure, clearing vegetation, ensuring hides and public areas are clean and tidy, maintenance of reserve vehicles, changing light fittings, etc. Training is available, if required, in the use of various machinery, e.g. strimmers.

The skills you need

Some previous caretaking or maintenance experience desirable but not essential. An interest in conservation issues would be useful but not essential.
