What we're looking for

We need your help to assist with a range of fun and educational event, and wildlife activities across South Essex, including our visitor centre and Discovery Zone at Wat Tyler Country Park. Volunteers can help ensure events run smoothly and attendees enjoy themselves. You can help us to convey the RSPB's message to a wide audience, especially families with children, and inspire people about birds and wildlife.

The skills you need

A desire to meet and work with people of all ages and share your enthusiasm for nature and the environment. Outgoing personality with good communication skills. An enjoyment of hands-on activities e.g.. bug hunting and pond dipping is useful for family events. Ability to travel across South Essex from Thurrock to Rochford.
