We organise regular work parties to carry out various habitat management and estate work on the reserve. We want volunteer help in the areas of habitat management and reserve maintenance. All tasks are vital for conservation of the site and for retaining good access to, and around the reserve
Enthusiasm and an interest in conservation are essential. No specialist skills are required though a good level of fitness and a desire to work outside is essential. You will need an up-to-date tetanus injection and to enjoy working as part of a team.
An opportunity to help with reserve management, become part of a small team and learn about the running of the reserve. A chance to enjoy the reserve. The opportunity to build up skills. This is an excellent chance to make a genuine contribution to wildlife conservation. You will gain a valuable insight into the workings of Europes largest conservation charity.
