What we're looking for

To ensure that all visitors to our reserve have a pleasurable and interesting time! The duties include meeting the public, handling money, using an EPoS till and merchandising stock. RSPB shops and catalogues raise nearly 10% of our income. By volunteering in the shop, you will help us present the RSPB in a friendly and professional manner. This will increase both visitor's enjoyment and our income.

The skills you need

You need: To enjoy working face to face with the public To have enthusiasm and a sense of humour To be able to work a part of a busy, highly motivated team A general interest in nature

Your time

half a day per week but preferably a whole day
All year round

What's in it for you?

You will gain important experience of working in a busy retail team. We will provide you with training in sales techniques, merchandising and customer care. You will be a front line ambassador for the RSPB on of its busiest sites.
