What we're looking for

Thousands of people volunteer for the RSPB. As an RSPB volunteer you will be part of our UK-wide team to save nature. We need your help to ensure that events run smoothly and that attendees enjoy themselves. You can help us convey the RSPB'S message to a wide audience especially families with children.

The skills you need

Enthusiasm, confidence, good speaking and listening skills to greet members of the public and talk about the work of the RSPB . An interest in wildlife and some knowledge of the RSPB's conservation efforts is expected. We have a varied programme of events and walks throughout the year and require assistants with enthusiasm and confidence to help us run them successfully.

Appropriate training will be provided and expenses re-imbursed where necessary. The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. We rely upon memberships and donations to fund our work. By volunteering your time and skills, you could make a real difference to the work of the RSPB. Nature is amazing – help us keep it that way.
