What we're looking for

Medmerry is a brand new nature reserve on the West Sussex coast, adjacent to the existing RSPB Pagham Harbour nature reserve. We are looking for you to welcome visitors as they make their way around this new reserve, tell them more about the site, how best to access the area and what birds and wildlfie they can expect to see. A friendly RSPB presence will deter disturbance to wildlife refuge areas. Essemtially, it's about sharing your knowledge and enthusiasm with others so our visitors go away feeling inspired about Medmerry and its wildlife. We'd also like ot ask you to be our eyes and ears on the nature reserve, noting wildlife using the site and bringing any issues to the attention of staff (e.g., trespass, littering, maintenance) so thaty they can be addressed promptly. There will also be opportunities to lead guided walks and carry the Medmerry message to outside groups with slide talks/lectures.
