What we're looking for

RSPB Radipole Lake and RPSB Lodmoor are busy, open access sites. They are bursting with fantastic wildlife due to the careful management by the RSPB. We are looking for enthusiastic individuals to engage the public with the wildlife spectacles that surround them.

The skills you need

We are looking for engaging individuals who are not afraid to spark a conversation with the wide ranging audience that visit the reserve. We would like someone who has an open mind to ways of working and is capable of taking the initiative when working on their own. Knowledge of wildlife is welcomed, but NOT essential.

Your time

Minimum:
One three hour shift per month

What's in it for you?

Otters, Kingfishers, Marsh Harriers and Water voles are just some of the Wildlife that you can help our visitors to enjoy on a daily basis. By helping them to explore the awesome wildlife in the middle of town, you could also inspire them into supporting the RSPB. This will make a huge contribution towards helping the RSPB to create a world richer in nature. You will also have to opportunity to develop your wildlife I.D skills, meet a diverse array of people and become part of a friendly and sociable volunteer team.

Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be re-imbursed where necessary. The RSPB is the UK charity working to secure a healthy environment for birds and wildlife, helping to create a better world for all of us.
