What we're looking for

This project aims to promote conservation of breeding waders (curlew, lapwing, redshank & snipe) within the wet grasslands around Lough Erne. 18 sites across the Upper & Lower Lough are targeted for management advice and annual monitoring. The role involves working with land owners and land managers to achieve landscape scale conservation of breeding waders in the catchment, while also collaborating with local schools both primary and secondary, to inspire learning about environmental awareness and biodiversity.

The skills you need

Essential: Excellent communication skills. Ability to identify a variety of bird species by sight and call. Hold a full valid UK driving license. To be able to walk moderate distances (8-11 Kms) Desirable: Good team player, but at the same time happy to work alone. Flexible hours.
