Estate Work Party Volunteer - Exe Estuary

Posted:
Tuesday 24 July 2018
Vacancy type:
Practical conservation
Location:
Exe Estuary Reserve

What we're looking for

What's involved? We have big ideas for the Exe Estuary reserve. Our new volunteer will work with the staff to improve the hides, signs, paths, gates and stiles – to make it a brilliant place to visit and enjoy the wildlife.

The skills you need

Get a buzz out of being outside in all weathers? Love getting a job done? That's most of what you need. You should be practical and like working with your hands. Being familiar with hand tools would be a bonus. For this role, you don't need to know about wildlife! We're sure you'll get to know our residents as you go along.

Your time

Minimum:
Every Thursday
Duration:
Ongoing
Period:
Summer/Autumn/Winter

What's in it for you?

Get outdoors on a landscape teeming with birds and wildlife. Learn new skills and above all have a great time! Everyone who walks through the gates will enjoy the things you're helping to achieve.
