What we're looking for

The shop at RSPB Lochwinnoch nature reserve is very busy and successful, but this will be unlike any other 'normal' shop job. Volunteering for the RSPB gives you an opportunity to directly input into generating vital funds for the society and make a valuable contribution to conservation. We need keen and enthusiastic people to help us with the day-to-day running of the shop and the creation of a welcoming environment for our visitors. We need you to ensure that all visitors to our reserve have a pleasurable and interesting time! The duties include meeting the public, handling money and stock, and small cleaning tasks.

The skills you need

To enjoy working with the public in a beautiful nature reserve. Be presentable, polite, welcoming and tactful. Ideally, you should be accurate and reliable at handling money and stock. We want you to have some customer service experience and If you've had some retail experience, even better.
