What we're looking for

To enthuse and educate the next generation about the wonders of the natural world and keep them interested, as well as giving them the skills to look after the world for the future. We are looking for male and female volunteers to join the other 4 leaders. Lakenheath Kingfishers Wildlife Explorers meet on the second Saturday of the month at Lakenheath Fen and the group is for 5-12 year olds.

The skills you need

You will need to have excellent communication skills with children, their parents and other leaders. An enthusiasm for the natural world and conservation is a must but you don't have to be an expert on birds! You will be expected to help plan, prepare and run activities, working with the other leaders to do so.

Your time

Minimum:
Up to 12 meetings a year, 3-4 hours per month
