What we're looking for

We are looking for out going and enthusiastic individuals to help organise and run toddler sessions to inspire children about the natural world. Tasks will include; - Helping to plan and set up activities. - Take part in crafts, tell stories and sing songs. - Be responsible for a group of children and their carers. - Gain new members for the RSPB.

The skills you need

We are looking for enthusiastic, personable individuals who can easily communicate with a wide range of people. Previous experience working with children is essential as well as the ability to engage with toddlers and carers. An interest and enthusiasm in the natural world would be beneficial. Key skills required include: - a friendly and approachable manner. - the ability to enthuse about the work of the RSPB. - confident and able to sing songs and read stories to groups of adults and children. - comfortable around children - reliable and organised - creative and imaginative - good team working and networking skills. - excellent face-to-face and interpersonal skills - willing to attend informal training sessions and learn from your peers
