What we're looking for

We are seeking enthusiastic volunteers to join our team and help us to deliver our community engagement projects. We aim to work with local primary and secondary schools as well as with youth groups and adult volunteering teams, carrying out varied environmentally themed activities, connecting people with nature.

The skills you need

You will be an enthusiastic and approachable person, with an outgoing personality. You will have a passion for the outdoors and a desire to help others to enjoy it. You will be required to attend informal training giving you an overview of the Eastern Moors Partnership. You may be required to attend child protection and welfare training. You may be offered training opportunities to further expand your role and experience.

In the heart of the stunning Peak District National Park, you will have an opportunity to develop your knowledge of the Eastern Moors as a site managed by two leading national charities, the National Trust and RSPB.

Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be re-imbursed where necessary. The Eastern Moors Estate is managed by the Eastern Moors Partnership on behalf of the Peak District National Park Authority. The Eastern Moors partnership is the first time that the RSPB and the National Trust have come together to manage a site. Your time and skills could make a real difference to the work of the EMP and it would be great if you could join us.
