What we're looking for

Our local groups play a vital role, supporting the work of the RSPB locally through fundraising, events, education and much more, as well as providing a focal point for interested people to meet. The Renfrewshire RSPB Local Group has been running for over 27 years. It is a dynamic group with an increasing membership. The Local Group is a great place to meet friendly, like minded people whilst learning more about birds and wildlife. Whether you are a novice or an expert everyone is given a warm welcome. We have monthly indoor meetings and twice a month outdoor meetings with the occasional coach trip and long weekend holidays. However as everything in nature needs to change to keep evolving, so does our group. The group is run by a committee of volunteers and we are looking for new committee members to help us continue to develop the group to move forward for another 27 years. We are looking for an organised and keen individual to take minutes at meetings of the local group committee and disseminate agenda's and other information to committee members before and after meetings. You will also be the key conduit for communication and information dissemination to local group committee members.

The skills you need

A good listener and able to accurately and succinctly record minutes and action points from meetings. An organised mind is key.

Your time
