What we're looking for

Are you passionate about nature and do you love meeting people? Would you like to inspire and wow people with the amazing wildlife we have here in Tayside and Fife? From dolphins and seabirds, to white-tailed eagles! We are looking for a number of Event Volunteers to help us across Perthshire, Angus, Dundee and Fife. You will be supporting our team by sharing amazing stories and wildlife with local people, helping out with fun family activities, encouraging people to Give Nature a Home in their garden and gathering important support for the RSPB through fundraising and membership. You will get the opportunity to help at a range of events from local Highland Games and Shows to wildlife walks and family fun days. You'll get to talk to people about the amazing conservation work happening right here in East Scotland, and make a difference by increasing our profile and support.

The skills you need

You'll need to be a friendly and outgoing person who is happy to initiate conversations with the public. An interest in conservation and wildlife will be essential as well as being happy to work outdoors.

Your time

2 days per month
All year round

What's in it for you?

The RSPB is an exciting conservation charity, the largest in Europe! We can help you gain skills in event planning, build confidence and give you a valuable insight into our work. You'll be part of a friendly team who share your passion for nature, and together we can inspire others about wildlife! Get involved in a variety of fun activities, explore your local wild places and get closer to wildlife whilst learning more about it.
