What we're looking for

Do you have the gift of the gab and a few hours to spare each month? Will you bring your love for the natural world to life to engage people and inspire donations in your local community? We need enthusiastic people like you who are happy to roll up their sleeves and chip in with the Community Fundraising team on our fundraising frontline. Join us for as little as two hours a week and share our dedication to raising funds for RSPB Scotland! Our Community Fundraising success is built entirely on the goodwill of our wonderful volunteers and supporters. We need your help to make the most of our local fundraising opportunities by: • Placing our pin badge or static collection boxes in local shops and businesses • Collecting funds from the boxes and banking funds at your local Paypoint • Updating our ROBINS computer system to track funds and replenish pin badges • Organising and attending street collections • Organising and attending bucket collections in local stores and venues • Thanking our supporters and issuing certificates The Community Fundraising Team is ambitious. Our amazing volunteers grow financial support for RSPB in our communities and ensure that every person they meet gets a special experience of nature, wherever they are. The skills you need

We're looking for people who have the time, skill and will to succeed and grow support. If you share our values and care about what you do and how you do it, then we want to hear from you! Essential • Excellent communication skills • Fully computer literate and confident • Enthusiasm for smashing targets, fundraising and inspiring people about nature! • Confidence to use your initiative and work well with a team • Attention to detail with the ability to ensure that our activities run according to strict guidelines • Willingness to ensure all our donors receive the best service Desirable • Customer service and cash-handling experience

No knowledge of birds required! Appropriate training and friendly support will be provided and expenses will be re-imbursed where necessary.
