What we're looking for

Our network of over 160 RSPB local groups are ambassadors for the RSPB in the local community. We need an enthusiastic and conscientious individual to be the leader of the Stockport group. You will be supported in the role by a team of dedicated committee members, and have guidance from staff at the regional office.

The skills you need

Enthusiasm! The ability to communicate with people. You do not need to be a bird expert, but an interest in birds & conservation an advantage.

Your time

Minimum:
8-10 hours a month. Initial 2 day training course.
Duration:
Maximum 5 year term of office
Period:
All year round
