What we're looking for

Nature needs a home, and we want to inspire families to discover how amazing the natural world is, and give them the knowledge and skills to give nature a home in their own gardens, schools and communities. The more events we can do, the more families we can inspire - and the more chance we have of giving nature a home!

The skills you need

Experience working with children is preferable but not essential. Outgoing and friendly personality, comfortable talking to families. No need to be an expert as long as you have an ability to enthuse people about nature and the work of the RSPB.

Your time

Minimum:
1 day per week
Duration:
July to September
Period:
Summer

What's in it for you?

This is a great opportunity to have some fantastic experience of working within a professional team of nature conservationists and environmental educators. The role will help develop skills in leadership, event planning, and working with families.
