What we're looking for

Are you good at organisation, creative and with an eye for detail? Do you enjoy reading and feeding back your thoughts? If so, we want you! We want someone to work with us to support our regional & country teams and our volunteer groups in local communities. We are looking for someone that is happy to be flexible with their activities, is great at organising and is confident using microsoft excel, word and outlook. The role will involve various different elements such as: Checking our group newsletters to ensure they fit with our brand vision and tone. Overhauling and updating two speakers directories as and when appropriate. Updating our two resource brochures with any new products using MS Word and following RSPB brand guidelines. Assisting the Volunteering Development Consultant with various projects throughout the year. This is an important role as these activities allow us to manage, promote, thank and support our volunteers efficiently.

The skills you need

Computer literacy, with experience of Microsoft 2007, specifically Word, Excel and Outlook. Attention to detail. A flair for systems and organisation. Good communication skills. Previous administration experience would be useful, but not essential, as would an interest in conservation. Enthusiasm for gathering information and creating systems that will work for all levels of experience and a love of all things people!
