What we're looking for

- - We have an exciting new project in the Norfolk Broads called 'Networks for nature' which will work to connect more people, specifically families, to nature, conservation and the RSPB through community activities in local green spaces, schools, and at local events. - We are looking to recruit a dedicated group of three volunteer evaluators to work with the project teams and monitor and evaluate the project's progress. This will be done by collecting feedback (eg through questionnaires and short face to face interviews), collating answers and working with staff and our external evaluator. A large part of the project involves engaging with young people and families in their communities (the focus will be on the of NR2 and NR13 postcode areas) to encourage and help grow a connection with nature. This involves outreach sessions in schools and events in local areas. Volunteer evaluators will help us monitor the progress of the project and what impact the project is having on the target audiences. - As part of the national RSPB campaign to 'Give Nature a Home', we would like our volunteers to share our passion for working with nature, conservation and local communities, passing on that message to the public through our outreach sessions, and helping us go from strength to strength. - Volunteer evaluators will primarily be working with members of staff; Volunteer and Community Development Officer, Fundraisers, Youth Education and Volunteering Manager, and our external evaluator.
