What we're looking for

We are looking for someone to help us maintain our workshop, vehicles and other reserve machinery. We also need help on all those little jobs that we never seem to get around to doing – like sharpening tools, fixing signs, etc. All tasks are vital for the conservation of our reserves and to ensure they are the best for visitors and wildlife.

The skills you need

Ideally a good all round knowledge of tools, machinery and DIY . Ability to work as part of a small team and happy to work under your own initiative with support from staff. A full and current driving license is essential. Trailer experience would be an advantage.

Your time

Minimum:
2 day per Month
Duration:
Ongoing
Period:
Year round

What's in it for you?

This is a great opportunity to use your skills and interests to help your local RSPB reserves. Working as part of our team you will get to meet new people and learn more about your local reserves and how they are managed for birds and other wildlife.
