What we're looking for

You will perform an essential role in this project, supporting staff and volunteers who are delivering outreach sessions across Manchester. We need you to provide effective administrative support that will enable us to grow the project and connect more children to nature. Key duties and responsibilities -Input and maintain volunteer records using our volunteer management system -Input volunteer expense claims using our financial management software -Update and maintain school records using our education database -Input session bookings and update participation numbers and teacher feedback -Provide administrative support for marketing activities -Manage and prioritise workload independently -Ensure deadlines are met -Attend initial induction and training and participate in occasional skills development opportunities

The skills you need

-Experience of working in an administrative role -Well organised, with good attention to detail -Effective communication skills to liaise with volunteers and staff -Good computer literacy - ability to use e-mail, internet, word processing and databases -A willingness to learn new skills -Self motivated, with a willingness to work on your own -Ability to maintain confidentiality and follow our privacy policy

Equipment required -Access to the internet if working from home Commitment -One day per week during term time -Initially this position is for a period of 12 months Location -Home based (Greater Manchester area) with some travel to training at our office in Denby Dale, or office based at Denby dale, Huddersfield.
