This varied role involves attending and helping to deliver family activities at events across Edinburgh and the Lothian's. We are currently recruiting volunteers for a number of events in June and July including the Royal Highland Show You will be working with RSPB staff members (and sometimes on your own) where you will be helping to run engaging activities for families and children. We also have a fantastic partnership with The Helix Park in Falkirk, where we often run a number of family events. This team will be helping to deliver activities from pond dipping and bug hunting to self led activities and specific events at this great location throughout the year.

Your time

We'd like our volunteers to be able to commit to a minimum of 4 events a year
All year round, busy periods in summer

What's in it for you?

This will be a great opportunity to gain valuable skills in outdoor education, people engagement and experience working with children and families. You will also get to work alongside our friendly and dedicated education, families and membership teams. You will be able to get out and about, meet new people and promote the RSPB, whilst gaining a valuable insight into our work.
