What we're looking for

We need an extra pair of hands to help us achieve our goal of £250 000 by 2020 through various fundraising streams. The main stream of income will be from our pin badge scheme, other income will come from social and challenge events. We need someone who can; A. Help us grow our pin badge scheme in the North East by securing new sites to host a pin badge box. B. Recruit and induct new volunteers to the pin badge scheme. C. Organise bucket collections throughout the region and arrange a team of volunteers to help. D. Support our challenge events officer to grow and support the social challenges. E. Support our fundraisers F. Promote Community Fundraising via social media and other platforms. Time commitments for this role are flexible, ideally 2 days per week, but we are flexible on time and days.

The skills you need

We will go through everything you need for the role, and where possible, provide training. For this role you will need to be; A. Willing to go out and place boxes in different businesses B. Approachable C. Computer literate You should also have good; Leadership skills, Organisational skills, a full UK driving licence and access to a car. The use of our fleet cars are available upon booking in advance, if these are not available a hire car can be arranged, if this is not available your own car can be used and reimbursed where necessary. Finally, good Social media skills (although training can be provided)

You will have access to all the equipment you need for the role and access to our fleet cars when going out on business. You will become part of the Community Fundraising team working towards our target of £250,000, a big and exciting target for the region. With our help, you will learn new skills, and you will also get the chance to use your own skills whilst volunteering.
