Vacancy type:
Office and administration
Location:
Sherwood

What we're looking for

Running an RSPB reserve takes a lot of work behind the scenes - from processing invoices to placing orders, dealing with enquiries to managing finances. As a large and busy reserve we have a lot coming in, and are looking for people to join our dedicated admin team to make sure everything runs smoothly.

The skills you need

Basic computer literacy is required, and some experience of working in an office would be of benefit. You will also need to be proactive and friendly, with good communication skills. An interest in the RSPB and the history of Sherwood will be helpful but is not essential.

Your time

Minimum:
One half day/full day per week
Duration:
On-going
Period:
All year round

What's in it for you?

This is a great opportunity to work on one of the RSPB's most exciting reserves. Sherwood Forest is an internationally important habitat and tourist destination. From Robin Hood to the ancient oak trees, there are so many reasons to be excited about this site. You will have the chance to use and develop administration skills, and perhaps learn some new ones. You will be able to learn more about ancient woodland habitats and how they are important for nature, as well as the history of Sherwood and Robin Hood.
