What we're looking for

We need your help to create and maintain our quiz trails. You can help us convey the RSPB'S message to a wide audience especially families with children, to engage them with nature and wildlife. On average we run around 8 quiz's each year, in addition to our nature treasure hunt trails for school holidays. Connecting families to nature is a vital part of the RSPB Aire Valleys work, looking to inspire the next generation of conservationists to get involved with wildlife. Saving nature now and in the future.

The skills you need

You'll need to be creative and organised with a good basic knowledge of nature and wildlife. Though there will be plenty of opportunities to learn more as the role develops. Good communication skills are important and being able to address a child focused audience. You will need to be willing to work to RSPB guidelines, standards and brand.

Your time

1-2 days per month, some could be home based
All year around

What's in it for you?

This role will suit someone who loves to be creative and who would gain satisfaction from passing on their passion about wildlife. You would join a large friendly team within the Aire Valley, with the chance to meet new people. It's also a great opportunity to make a real difference to the work of the RSPB by encouraging more support. We will let you know how many families your quiz trails reach and the number of people your work will inspire.
