What we're looking for

The fantastic volunteer team at Woodbridge Local Group are looking for help to co-ordinate the production and delivery of its well-read local group magazine for its group members. The magazine is bursting full of exciting stories about wildlife in the local area, outstanding trip reports, fun quizzes, RSPB regional news and more! The stories are generally put together by group members, volunteers and RSPB staff. The group needs you to put the articles and photos together in an A5 booklet format ready to print. If you have some writing experience, your own wildlife-related articles would also You will also need to ensure that the draft newsletter is cleared by the local RSPB office, and arrange copying or printing of the newsletter. The programme has to be prepared and printed quarterly. You may also wish to attend the occasional local group committee meeting, where volunteers for the group come together in a relaxed setting to talk about what is currently going on in the group, and plans for the future. There is often plenty of cake and tea on offer at these meetings too! So, does this sound like a volunteer position that would interest you? The skills you need

Simple... an interest in Suffolk wildlife and an ability to use desktop publishing and word processing software Microsoftt Word / Publisher).
