What we're looking for
It's an exciting time in Visitor Operations at the RSPB, with a keen focus on strengthening our visitor events offer across our reserve estate, and a shift to focussing on more cohesion of our offer across the entire visitor operation, we need help to ensure as many of our supporters know about our amazing programme of visitor events, showcasing some of the most amazing nature spectacles in the UK as possible. Working with the Visitor Events Project Manager, you will be helping us to join up on our promotion of events across the network at key times of year like Easter, Halloween, International Dawn Chorus day and also helping the promotion of special events, featuring key celebrities from the world of nature television. We need someone that can help us pull together integrated marketing campaigns, working with many internal and external stakeholders to choose the best channels of communicating our offer. Experience of this would be advantageous, but we would also be open to the idea of working with someone looking to gain more experience in this area. Relationship building and communication skills will be a key contributor to success in this role. An understanding of the importance of monitoring and evaluation of these campaigns will also be beneficial, as well as analytical and report writing skills. Help us grow support for nature by maximising our ticket sales to events on our reserves, increasing income, providing the best visitor experience imaginable and instilling a deep connection to the natural world in to our visitors.
