What we're looking for

RSPB Pin Badges are as popular as ever and remain a great way for us to raise much needed funds. Our exclusive Irish language badges are designed to encourage people to think about language and nature and we want to use the 30th anniversary of the feile to help even more people in West Belfast get connected with nature. Help us continue to raise vital funds by supporting and growing a team of volunteers managing, pin badge donation boxes throughout West Belfast Promote this scheme to new outlets and enlist the help and support of new volunteers.

The skills you need

You will be a good motivator, friendly and outgoing and enjoy meeting people, in short, you will be happy managing and supporting other people in their volunteering role with the RSPB. You will also have a high level of motivation, good communication and interpersonal skills, basic computer skills, and an ability to work on own initiative. . An understanding of the Irish language would also be beneficial. You will be responsible for managing and supporting a team of local volunteers over the summer and during the feile who will be attending events and locations in West Belfast over this period selling the pin badges

Minimum:
Flexible – Approximately 2 days a week.

No knowledge of birds required! Appropriate training will be provided and expenses will be reimbursed where necessary. The RSPB speaks out for birds and wildlife, tackling the problems that threaten our environment. We rely upon memberships and donations to fund our work. By volunteering your time and skills, you could make a real difference to the work of the RSPB. Nature is amazing - help us keep it that way.
