What we're looking for

We are hosting Chris Packham and his UK Nature Reserves are Not Enough campaign. On the day, we will be encouraging everyone to contribute to citizen science by taking part in a bioblitz, recording species found on the reserve. As well as the RSPB, partner organisations including Scottish Wildlife Trust, Butterfly Conservation, CARG, Buglife, Field Studies Council, Garnock Connections, Clyde Bat Group and our own resident moth experts will be in attendance. There will be lots to do on the day, primarily engaging our visitors to where the various activities are, making sure people are having fun and staying safe whilst doing so. At the end of the event, some lifting may be required, however, we will be careful to match you up with tasks that that suit your abilities.

The skills you need

We are looking for a range of skills - if you have them all that's great but equally if you would like to help with some activities but not other's that's fine too – just let us know when you get in touch.

What's in it for you?

This will be a varied role and by lending a hand you will be enabling us to connect lots of families with nature in our beautiful nature reserve.
