What we're looking for

The RSPB can only achieve what we do with the help of our amazing volunteers. We need someone to help us manage and grow our team of volunteers in Cornwall so that we can help to save even more nature! We are looking for someone to help us find new volunteers, be a key link in the way we communicate, and to help us support them by organising thank you events, volunteer training and inductions. You will help us ensure all volunteers have a rewarding and enjoyable time whilst volunteering with us.

The skills you need

Good communication and organisational skills, and a friendly approach, are essential for this volunteer position! You will also need to be able use a computer to help us keep our records up to date.

Your time

Minimum:
1 day per week
Duration:
Ongoing
Period:
All year round

What's in it for you?

You'll be helping to lead, support and inspire our friendly team of volunteers at Cornwall. Being part of the RSPB, an active and exciting conservation charity (the largest in Europe!), you'll meet many minded people and hopefully make new friends. Through this role, we can help you develop existing skills and gain new ones, as well as give you a valuable insight into our work.
